Exciting news for Disney Vacation Club members and hopefuls alike: the brand-new Welcome Home Center, Chateau de Voyage, has officially opened its doors in the Canada Pavilion at EPCOT!
After months of construction, the top tier of the Canada Pavilion has been transformed and is now accessible, welcoming visitors to explore this beautifully designed space. Nestled within the iconic Hotel du Canada, which draws inspiration from the majestic Chateau Laurier in Ottawa, this center replaces the former Le Boutiques des Provinces shop that closed some time ago.
As you approach, you’ll be greeted by an elegant entrance adorned with golden signage and a DVC podium sheltered under a charming blue umbrella. This marks the very first in-park Welcome Home Center at Walt Disney World, offering guests the chance to schedule presentations and tours at any DVC Discovery desk. Chateau de Voyage opens its doors at 10:30 a.m., inviting guests to immerse themselves in the magic.
Step inside to discover a lounge area inspired by the Northern Railway of Canada, featuring cozy blue armchairs and striking yellow high-backed chairs. A plush blue carpet flows over a rich wooden floor, setting the stage for a relaxing experience. The ambiance is enhanced by a stylish bar that overlooks the new bay windows, where glass lighting fixtures and elegant candelabras create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Curiosity piques as a compass decoration hangs above a mysterious blue curtain, leaving guests wondering what secrets it may conceal. The space also boasts another set of bay windows framing a quaint booth, complete with a miniature railroad bridge overhead. Adorning the walls are stunning murals showcasing Canada’s breathtaking natural beauty, alongside artistic train paintings, bear reliefs, and delightful maple leaf designs.
The sales presentation lasts about 60 minutes, culminating in a sweet treat of maple taffy, as highlighted in a recent Instagram reel shared by DVC.
For those eager to see more, the model room awaits upstairs, accessible via an elevator marked “Departures,” where a Cast Member will guide you through a tour of a one-bedroom villa modeled after the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
