Florida Native Plant Society Field Trip

On Saturday, celebrate Florida Native Plant Month with the Ixia Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society. Take part in a guided field trip at the Julington-Durbin Preserve, known for its rich biodiversity.

This preserve features a rare Longleaf Pine habitat and is home to several endangered plant species, including the chapter’s namesake, Bartram’s Ixia. Participants are encouraged to wear closed-toed shoes and bring water for an enjoyable experience.
